Berlin's Dr.Nojoke, also founder of Unoiki, comes back to Archipel with is second album "Glandridi". Like he describes his style himself, his "clickno" music covers a range of heavy drums with layers of field recordings, as well as home made percussions. This new release brings on new grounds while keeping the same approach, Bogdan brings on strange voodoo chanting as well as twisted percussion signature. [RE69] Every Kid On Speed - Traktor EP 2x3"CD-R

Toni Dimitrov, head honcho of the Acidfake label from Skopje, Macedonia, has drilled his project every kid on speed deeply into the label history of Retinascan. His love for the short distance - none of his releases goes over the 30 minute margin - is taking the attention span of the listener into account, nonetheless you can await a lot more stuff happening in the 24 minutes of this release than in many 70 minute sound manglings of many other releases.
It was quite a challenge for the remixers to decompress the both tunes, but in their very own way, each artist found his way to interpret the dense structures into something completely new. From the total antithesis of Pablo Reche's lowercase mix to the danceable tunes of Dr. Nojoke and Tolga Baklacioglu aka tb, each track has become a perfect example for today's equality of sounds.

Desertas is a thick skinned and sticky low slung psychedelic funk animal running in percussive cycles so warm they become immediately tangible. Empörungsstandard spins a web of bending raw vocalizations in a sultry atmosphere of twirling hypnoscapes. Flugs" heavily holds itself up with rhythmic strength walking amongst a crowded corridor of exotic and foreign memories created within moments never experienced prior to their conception while still remaining familiar. Hohlophony begins with fluttering swarms of white noise insect life and atonal musings and quickly evolves into a caustic nether-hours freak-out. This time Safir developes the rhythm bringing up dark sounds mixed up with depth and serious glitch, giving us a result of an unusual deep powerful groove especially in his track "minalco". Dr.Nojoke (Autist, Equaliteq, Loopzilla, Resopal Schallware) an exceptionally adroit remixer, brings us strange plunks and buzzes, mysterious whispering, pushing sonic experimentation into a freaky minimal dubstep track. Eke (31337 Records, Igloo) also gives his personal touch making a slick techy minimal groove with plenty of crazy weird fxs.
